No More Starving Artists

Sunset Center – November 9, 2013 – 9 am – 5 pm

The Central Coast Art Association and The Arts Council for Monterey County will present a workshop for artists aspiring to successfully market their work, 9 am to 5 pm, November 9, 2013 at the Sunset Center, Carmel. The workshop will focus on relationships with galleries, web design, messaging, still images and video. Cost is $125 for Central Coast Art Association members and $150 for nonmembers.

With presentations by :

Jason Horejs, owner of the successful Xanadu Gallery in Scottsdale, AZ, and author of “Starving to Successful: An Artist’s Guide to Getting Into Galleries and Selling More Art”. – Copy included in workshop cost.

Tom Birmingham, fine art photographer & collaborator with his wife, Big Sur artist Erin Gafill in an online painting workshop series.

Susan Bancroft, online gallery designer, skilled social media and email practitioner.

Mark Basse, 30-year veteran of multimedia production and a Multimedia Systems Analyst for the U C Santa Cruz Extension in Silicon Valley.

This workshop is designed to equip artists with the tools needed to define their mission, set goals, and present their work using the best tools available to the most appropriate markets, galleries and collectors. Seating is limited, so register with a deposit now.
